We are the voice, the direction, the truth for our children
As parents, we have many roles to play. As parents of children with special needs, those roles take on new levels of importance.
Throughout my journey with my son who has developmental delays, I have discovered that I am truly his voice; I am the one to lead the way; and his health and welfare truly depend on how much I am willing to research, to question, and to follow through on.
There is a vast amount of information available now that may not be considered conventional. However, when there are no conventional answers being provided, it is up to us to find the solutions for our children.
